About the Author

Russell Means, born an Oglala/Lakota in 1939, was raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation near the Black Hills, and then in Vallejo, California. Now a grandfather with twenty-two grandchildren, Means divides his time between Chinle, Navajo Nation, Arizona, and Porcupine, North Dakota.

Marvin J. Wolf is an award-winning writer and member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. He lives in Los Angeles.

I enjoyed this book because it was straight to the heart of his life, experiences in the Native American community, his own struggles with habits that seem to plague a lot of people, to his role in the Last Of The Mohican's (will never see a Costner film in the same way again-must read the book to find out why).

well i liked it because it had alot to do w/ what the native americans went though and i like the fact it stayed ob the topic!!!!!!!!!thx russell
