A lyrical, engrossing tale, by the author of Watership Down, Richard Adams creates a lyrical and engrossing tale, a remarkable journey into the hearts and minds of two canine heroes, Snitter and Rowf, fugitives from the horrors of an animal research center who escape into the isolation — and terror — of the wilderness.

"Thousands and thousands of people will love this book!" Boston Globe

Plague Dogs is a brilliant work by Richard Adams - a thoroughly moving story that kept entertaining the whole way through with the next interesting character, tragic event or unravelling of the truth. Snitter and Rowf are lovable characters, making it fairly easy to sympathise with their tragic circumstance. However, its not a light read - and be warned, often characters speak with such a thick accent that its difficult to understand what they're trying to say - often finding that reading aloud is the only way to decipher meanings. All in all a very good book!
