Publisher Comments:

He is Layel, king of the vampires, a master seducer no woman can deny. But since a rogue horde of dragons killed his beloved over two centuries ago, Layel has existed only for vengeance…until he meets Delilah.

Wary of love, the beautiful Amazon wants nothing to do with the tormented vampire. Yet there's no denying their consuming desire every time he nears her.

Neither trusts the other—nor can they survive alone. For in an impossible game of the gods' devising, they've been trapped on an island, about to face the ultimate challenge: surrender to the passion that will bind them forever…or be doomed to an eternity apart.

The "New York Times"-bestselling author of the Lords of the Underworld series delivers a brand-new tale of Atlantis--a mythical world of immortals, magic, and dark seduction. Original.

I, too, love this entire series. Why can't there be more. Write! Write! This one is by far my favorite. I have probably read it about 10 times. The characters are likeable(sic?), the story line interesting, and how I love the suspense(romantic). What's not to love? Not much.

This whole series is delicious. How could you not love it. Gena Showalter paranormal romances (not alien!) are the best. The only complaint is that there isn't enough. Have to read them over and over again to get my fix. Great characters, story lines and satisfying endings! ***** (5 stars)
