About the Author

Wilhelm Reich, a native of Austria, was born in 1897. His many other works include Listen, Little Man!, Function of the Orgasm, and Character Analysis. He died in 1957.

In an article on the AlterNet.org online news site, journalist Mike Lofgren (of TruthOut.org) includes commentary on Reich's work, specifically from this title. The article is titled "A Conservative Explains Why Right-Wingers Have No Compassion."
