About the Author

David Malouf is the author of, among other works, ten novels, including Remembering Babylon, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1993, was named by Time as one of the best works of fiction for that year, and received the Los Angeles Times Book Award for Fiction in 1994. Malouf divides his time between Australia and Tuscany.
