Anne Frank was so beautiful and optimistic! She had so many huge dreams for her future. The whole time I was reading I kept looking for some hint of foreshadowing; waiting to see if she knew what was in store for her. Despite her two years in hiding in such close quarters with everyone else; despite her entire world being narrowed down to a handful of other people and having to make luxuries of things everyone else takes for granted as necessities, young Miss Frank not only maintained a cheerful outlook but she even thrived! I can't imagine that I would have been as strong as she was. I wish this were a work of fiction. I wish Anne Frank had a chance to grow up. She would have set the world on its end! She is a wonderful, vivacious girl and her death was a tragedy for everyone who came after.
