Allsburg again explores the fine line between fantasy and reality so beautifully expressed in his popular book, "The Polar Express." A mysterious stranger's power over the changing seasons is the theme for this magical story, filled with Allsburg's rich full-color illustrations.

The enigmatic origins of the stranger that Farmer Bailey hits with his truck and brings home to recuperate seem to have a mysterious relation to the weather. Could he be Jack Frost?
