Busy from dawn to night, these long-eared cowpokes wrangle cattle, eat taters, and dance under moonlit skies. Western charm oozes from the beautifully colored, wood-distressed illustrations. Your favorite buckaroos and buckarettes will find Cowboy Bunnies irresistible.

Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

The rollicking bedtime bunny tale, now available in a board book!

Cowboy bunnies wake at sunrise and off they go, riding their ponies, roping cattle, mending fences, and tossing hay. When evening falls, they gather round the campfire to feast and play their fiddles. But soon cowboy bunnies are rubbing their sleepy eyes, and it's time to head home, where mamas sing sweet lullabies, and papas softly harmonize.

Review:

"Young cow-bunnies will welcome this rhyming tale about the daily routine of rabbits who play at being cowboys. The artist...embraces her subject with originality and visual gusto." Publishers Weekly

Review:

"This is a rollicking addition to the genre of bedtime reading for the very young, surely destined to become a favorite." School Library Journal (Starred Review)

Review:

"Few readers will be able to resist the impulse to bolt through these pages again." Kirkus Reviews

Review:

"Loomis' rhyming story flows like a campfire song, sparking giggles and snickers. Eitan's paintings on wooden slats captivate and warm your insides." Leslie Julian, Children's Literature

Synopsis:

Little bunnies spend their day pretending to be cowboys: riding their ponies, mending fences, counting cows, eating chow, and singing cowboy tunes until it is time for bed.
