I'm amazed that I read Having Faith at all, given that I didn't like the cover or the title. It is a testament to the book's greatness that my prejudices fell by the wayside as soon as I started reading. Sandra Steingraber, ecologist and mother, effortlessly weaves memoir, science, and history with elegance and clarity.
