I always enjoy how Gibson builds around and deconstructs a concept, while using an intriguing story to pull all of the elements together. Pattern Recognition focuses on the essence and propagation of style in popular culture. In the age of the viral video, Pattern Recognition is an exciting and fitting read.

My most memorable book of the decade -- and I rad a lot of books. It sums up the first decade of this century.
