But when the monks cleverly entice them to make soup from stones, the villagers discover how much they have to give — and how much more comes back to them in return.

Excellent resource for introducing world religion and eastern culture to young children. The illustrations and symbols are fantastic springboard for creative dialogue with teacher and students.
