About the Author

Scott Turow Author of Presumed Innocent, one of the most acclaimed and best-selling works of the 1980s, Scott Turow is a lawyer and former Assistant US District Attorney. After graduating from Amherst and receiving an MA at Stanford — where he received a fellowship in creative writing — Turow entered Harvard Law School. The journal he kept during his first year there became the basis for his first book, One L: An Inside Account of Life in the First Year at Harvard Law, published to critical acclaim in 1977. Mr. Turow lives in suburban Chicago.
