One of the best! I've read most of the author's mysteries, and certain elements follow the author's standard plot & character development. But this one had me twisting & turning more than most -- and kept me engaged the entire time. In addition to featuring a jockey protagonist, and a horse race here & there, we are treated to sailing, kidnapping, accounting, romance, and more. Anyone who can make accounting an exciting profession gets thumbs up here! And exciting it is, in one of the author's best - highly recommended.
