Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Dating both a vampire and a werewolf isn't easy. But just to complicate Anita's already messy life, someone has put a price on her head. Love cannot save her this time, so she turns to Edward, hitman extraordinaire, for help. But finding the person behind the threat won't be easy, because as both a vampire hunter and zombie reanimator, Anita has made a lot of enemies — both human and otherwise.

Synopsis:

With her love life — and life — on the line, the time has come for Anita Blake to choose...between a vampire and a werewolf.

Synopsis:

The first hit man came after me at home, which should be against the rules. Then there was a second, and a third. Eventually, I found out that the word on the street was that Anita Blake, preternatural expert and vampire killer extraordinaire, was worth half a million dollars. Dead, not alive. So what's a girl to do but turn to the men in her life for help? Which in my case, means an alpha werewolf and a master vampire. With professional killers on your trail, it's not a bad idea to have as much protection as possible, human or otherwise.

But I'm beginning to wonder if two monsters are better than one...

Synopsis:

Anita Blake's messy life becomes more complicated when someone puts a price on her head. As both a vampire hunter and zombie reanimator, Anita has made a lot of enemies--both human and otherwise.

When you start reading the Anita Blake series, your days will be lost, you will find yourself staying up until ridiculous hours in the morning to finish it and then before you know it running down to the bookstore to get the next one immediately ? as these books are seriously addictive!!
Anita's powers are increasing and in The Killing Dance the lines between her humanity and the supernatural began to blur. Always an uncompromising and hard-hitting lady, she's beginning to develop a detachment, a hardness that?s making her fearful. An assassin has been hired to murder Anita. There's a $500,000 price on her head...and she's only a human. This leads to her ?friend? bounty hunter extraordinaire Edward her knight in soiled armour, or as the vamps and were?s like to declare Death, volunteering his services as detective and bodyguard. Her two love interests, Alpha werewolf Richard Zeeman, and master vampire Jean Claude, are the ones most capable of protecting her but can they put their rivalry and jealousy on hold until the emergency is over and the hitman is found?
Highly recommended I can?t wait to read Hamilton?s next book Burnt Offerings
