About the Author

Antony Penrose grew up surrounded by important artists and writers of the twentieth century. Today he runs Farley Farm House, his parents' former home in southern England, which houses works by surrealist and modern artists and is open to the public. He is the author of an adult bookand#160;about his mother, Lee Miller. He lives in East Sussex, England.

As a classroom teacher, and an art specialist, this series of books has provided an wonderful launching place for lessons about the "masters" and their art. The text and illustrations are engaging and fun for the students.
