Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Emabark with Nero Wolfe on a year of murder and mystery. It begins at Christmas with a party and a poisoning, then blossoms into spring and sudden death at the Easter parade. With a killer in the crowd, the Fourth of July is no picnic, and the calendar is overbooked when death is in season. Here are four cunning cases that leave everyone guessing. And only Nero Wolfe has a clue.

The synopsis doesn't mention it, so here goes--

The four Nero Wolfe novellas included are:
The Christmas party
Easter Parade
A Fourth of July picnic
Murder is no joke.

These are all great stories that I would read again-- and have, multiple times, over the years!

Four short stories that have a holiday theme except the last one.Thank yous go out to Bantam for bringing these gems back for us. They all read way to fast and you are looking for more, but that's how it is in Nero and Archies world. An excellent rainy Saturday read with the fireplace blazing.
