Steven Pressfield is the author of The Legend of Bagger Vance, a mystical golf novel that was made into a film directed by Robert Redford, starring Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, and Will Smith; Tides of War; Last of the Amazons; and most recently, The Virtues of War, a novel about Alexander the Great. He makes his home in Malibu, California.
