This one is eminently readable, practical and simple and fun.

There are details on what equipment to use, where to find some of the more exotic ingredients, and how to make your own of pretty much everything from baby lotion to paint stripper. It was finding the paint stripper recipe that made me decide to buy the book.

Each recipe has a list of ingredients, with amounts and options, how to mix them to produce what they are supposed to, and how and how long to store the result.

I should also mention the wealth of tips assorted commentary and short essays. I repeat: eminently readable, practical, simple and fun.
