Llama, Llama red pajama

waiting, waiting for his mama.

Mama isn't coming yet.

Baby Llama starts to fret.

In this infectious rhyming read-aloud, Baby Llama turns bedtime into an all-out llama drama! Tucked into bed by his mama, Baby Llama immediately starts worrying when she goes downstairs, and his soft whimpers turn to hollers when she doesn't come right back. But just in time, Mama returns to set things right. Children will relate to Baby Llama's need for comfort, as much as parents will appreciate Mama Llama's reassuring message.

Our friend gave "Llama Mad at Mama" to my daughter for her birthday and that's how we discovered this wonderful children's book. What we love about it, is it's originality (I mean how often do you see Llamas in kids book?) and the realistic stories (like shopaholic moms).
It's a great gift idea!

I think the other person "abs49080" has no merit to review this great book. I couldn't stand all the grammatical errors in her review, either. This book is splendid and Anna Dewdney is an exceptional children's book writer. My kids love this book and it HELPS them understand that mom is always nearby. It is very well illustrated and a great quick read when your tot wants to read every book they can grab.

my daughter who is 2 years old, really like this book. we read this book atleast 5-6 times a day. lately, i have been noticing, at night time she dont want to come inside her room by her self. Also when i lay her to bed at night, few minutes after she cried and whiper and want me to stay there, which she doesnt normally do. I think she internalized this book, got afraid of dark, whimper, cried, hollar and want her mother to be there! I would not recommed this book for young kids. It messes up her very good nighttime routine. Fow now the book is in our basement inside a box. I think that is where it belong!
