Publisher Comments:

Robert K. Tanenbaum's most powerful New York Times bestseller is a twisting tale of unrelenting revenge and irrevocable justice.

Chief Assistant District Attorney Butch Karp is about to confront the most vicious killer he's ever convicted, Felix Tighe, who has just escaped prison with the help of Arab terrorists. Tighe, a manipulative, clever, crazed killer is bent on seeking revenge, yet his vengeance is much more personal. With a single-minded deranged fury, Tighe stalks Karp in a twisted game of cat and mouse through the city streets. But his desire for blood won't be satisfied with Karp alone. Tighe wants to hurt him where he is most vulnerable, where Butch Karp's anguish and pain will be sweetest — by targeting his family.

Synopsis:

In this complex, suspenseful tale of New York justice, a vengeful killer sets his sights on Chief ADA Butch Karp, the man who put him away, and strikes Karp where it hurts most. "For those who prefer their legal thrillers with plenty of spice and a high I.Q."--"Publishers Weekly."
