I really liked this book too. There were times when I could hardly wait to get back to reading it. Donna Tartt is an excellent writer, and it is easy to read this book. Harriet is a wonderful character, somehow I found myself cheering creepy Danny Ratliff too.

Still, although I enjoyed it, and found the story really captivating, there were some things I felt sort of dissatisfied about. But that may be just the way it is.

Very on the fence about this book...it's wonderfully detailed, but somehow not terribly engaging.
