This is indeed a classic. My mother used this book, I learned to make cookies using recipes in this book, and we still use it today. It's also a classic because many recipes today seem to be based on (or perhaps lifted directly from) this book. It's nice to have a complete copy again, all the recipes in one book, and a copy without pages torn or permanently stuck together.

I had this book long before I married and had children. My children grew up on this cooky book. They are now in their 30's and my poor book is taped, stained and sticky from use.

We have all collectively purchased many cookie books and magazines, but this is the one we come back to over and over again.
