Visual Workout: Creativity Workbookby Robin Landa
Synopses & Reviews
This one-of-a-kind workbook will stimulate your imagination and enable you to flex your creative design muscles. Unlike other books, the exercises in this workbook are not graphic design applications (e.g, designing a book jacket or a corporate identity). Rather, each exercise is a creative problem intended to stimulate visual thinking, encourage sketching and, most importantly, prompt you to try new approaches. While the authors' primary emphasis is on sketches this creativity workbook also features applications that illustrate how design ideas may be carried to finished pieces.
Book News Annotation:
Both authors are designers, authors, and educators. Here they offer imaginative exercises that will help both novices and seasoned designers stretch their visual vocabularies and approach problems creatively.
