About the Author

Henrietta is the author of the popular photographic picture book A Mouse in the House, which was autobiographical. For her second work she has adapted a verse by Richard Scrafton Sharpe (1759-1835), who in turn got the story from Aesop.

I picked this book because I've always enjoyed what I call "hide n seek" books. I wanted to give it as a gift to my grand-daughter but ended up keeping it. The story is wonderful and the illustrations are enchanting. I read it every time I'm in a not-so-very mood!
