About the Author
Sheldon L. Gerstenfeld, VMD, director of the Chestnut Hill Veterinary Hospital and Bird Clinic in Philadelphia, is the author of two previous books on dog and cat care, a contributing editor to Parents magazine and the host of a television show on pets. Dr. Gerstenfield lives near Philadelphia.
