I have been writing freelance for over 25 years, but have always made excuses why I could not write the novel I KNEW was inside of me. My son, also an aspiring fiction writer, got tired of my procrastination so he bought me this kit for Christmas. This July, I decided to give it a try and--LO AND BEHOLD--I should finish the lasts 1500 words of the first draft of my 50,000 word novel TODAY. This kit is motivating, humorous, and struck a genuine chord with me. It has made so much difference in my life and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who wants to write. Now all I have to do is edit this rough first draft--and I owe it all to Chris Baty's incredible program--and to my brilliant son!
