Gah, brilliant sequel to the Eye of the World, takes off right where book one ended, Rand faces some dificult decisions with his life and his relationships with his friends.
The story explores more of the history of the world of the wheel but while moving at a similar pace to that of the latter half of book 1.
One of the few direct sequels that is on par (and possibly surpasses) the original. A definate read for any fantasy fan.
