A man who turns into a lobster, reterritorialized territorializations, and wolf anuses are just a few of the concepts that populate this profoundly difficult, amazingly rewarding book. Deemed postmodern French philosophy, Deleuze and Guattari attempt to (re)define the boundaries of capitalism (think Marx) and psychoanalysis (think Lacan) via linguistics (do not think Chomsky), geology, anthropology, mathematics, astronomy, psychiatry, etc. Frankly, I am not certain whether this work is a big leg-pull or serious, but I immensely enjoy reading it and, ultimately, that is all that matters.
