Although this collection does contain some patterns that you see elsewhere, it is a really cute book of designs with some fresh ideas, like a retro-inspired baby bonnet and a cashmere "t-shirt" for mommy. It caters to different styles; from modern to retro, casual to dressy. I think that this book covers beginner level through advanced, considering how much of the embellishment/intarsia you'd want to incorporate. I haven't completed any of the projects, so I can't speak to errors, but so far so good!
