"Autobiography of a Yogi: Reprint of the Original 1946 Version" by Paramanhansa Yogananda 1565891082
Yogananda tells his spiritual story in this original version reprint. Receiving an early childhood call to a spiritual life, he struggled to develop sensitivity and an increasing connection to God. The pace and depth of his understanding was accelerated after locating his guru and accepting the Kriya Yoga teachings. The lineage of Yogananda's guru, the line of teachers that came before, is a remarkable view into the culture and spiritual realities of India. After 5,000 years of practicing with an intent to connect with God, the science and technology of the Indian masters offers answers to a singular question. How shall I live my life?

Best book I ever read! Very inspiring and interesting. Could hardly put it down and I've read it again several times just because I loved it so much.

Simple, touching storytelling. Amazing anecdotes of the purity of caring, disciplined minds. Paramahansa Yogananda shows the reader the context and nature of his masters' teachings, and gives insightful, compelling accounts of the "ultimateness" of the omnipresent spiritual intelligence of the universe.
