About the AuthorAn avid plants-person since youth, Dan Hinkley received his Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture and Horticulture Education from Michigan State University in 1976 and his Master of Science in Urban Horticulture from the University of Washington in 1985. From 1987 to 1996, Dan taught horticulture at Edmonds Community College, Edmonds, Washington.
