Green Rider is the beginning of a fantasy series about a college-age girl named Karrigan. This girl is feisty and goes through a lot through about 600 pages and the reader gains an appreciation for survival, swordplay, horseriding, and preventing midieval terrorism. I really enjoyed this book and It precedes 2 more great books (First Riders Call & The High King's Tomb) that are already published (a fourth is in the works). If you like Lord of the Rings, you'll like this book and it's a much easier read. 4/5 stars is my rating.
