It is so great to have a guide like this specific to the PNW! Usually we have to wade through the eastern species to find our little friends. This is a very consise and useful addition to my collection of outdoor guides. There is enough information on each bird that you could use this as a field guide in a pinch, but its really intended to compliment another guide such as Sibley's or National Geographic's. I'm not there yet, but I expect this guide to get me to know these species by sound. I hope!
