About the AuthorLaurence Dumortier was raised in Paris and London before coming to the U.S. for college. She studied art history at Wellesley College and creative writing at Antioch University. Her writing has appeared in Interview and Detour magazines. She is at work on a manuscript of short stories entitled I Wish I Was a Fool for You. She lives in Venice, California with her husband and son. Lecia Dole-Recio was born in San Francisco, California. She received her BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She has had solo shows at Richard Telles Fine Art in Los Angeles and Adamski Gallery for Contemporary Art in Aachen, Germany. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
