John Medina makes recent brain research eminently readable and interesting; a book I have read and referred to many times.

An outstanding read. First chapter on exercise will blow you
couch potatoes away. Written in language you can understand.
Much of the book is about how we learn and the best conditions
for learning.

All the latest in brain research in language one can understand. The first chapter, on exercise, will blow all you couch potatoes away. Then, there is great information on how we learn and what the best conditions for learning and remembering are. I recommend it highly!!
