From the thriving literary community of Portland, Oregon, VoiceCatcher presents new prose and poetry by 46 award-winning and emerging women writers. This eclectic collection journeys from a lonely cottage on the Oregon Coast to a Spanish class in Guatemala, from a posh restroom in downtown Manhattan to a farm on Sauvie Island. Characters encounter a dying dolphin, a beloved egg, the Tooth Fairy, revered ancestors and wicked grandmothers. VoiceCatcher grew out of a community of women writers and is an offering to the wider community of readers.
