my sisters and i grew up reading this collection of poems (originally printed in 1969). we found it while digging through my dad's bookshelves for old treasures. and this i truly a treasure! the pictures are beautiful and whimsical... and the poems are still capturing.. i read about thirty of them to my nieces the other night.. they wouldn't let me stop!
