Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Light tests the boundaries of the Death Note's powers as L., his alter ego, and the police begin to close in. Luckily Light's father is the head of the Japanese National Police Agency, and Light can keep one step ahead of the authorities. Rated for older teens.

Synopsis:

Light is chaffing under L's extreme surveillance, but 64 mikes and cameras hidden in his room aren't enough to stop him. He decides steps up the game, but before the battle can really begin, a family tragedy distracts him. But even though Light isn't using the Death Note right now, someone else is! Who's the new Killa in town?

This book is very thrilling, ever page is a roller coaster ride through the amazing life of Light Yagami. It has many twists and turns that will have your head spinning! You will like this book if you like thrilling, yet sometimes comedic, manga. I would recommend everybody try reading one of the books. I kid you not.

A very well illustrated, very intelligent manga series. An unpredictable ride the whole time - don't expect to figure it out until the very end! I would recommend Death Note, my favorite manga, to almost everyone.
