After a brief introduction explaining plaster basics, you are guided through five chapters: Painting on Plaster, Casting & Carving, Sculpture, Book Arts and Encaustic, Mixed Media & Plaster and 25 projects. Each project introduces a new way of incorporating plaster into your work, from the creation of a faux fresco painting, to a stenciled look and from cast-object assemblage to a book with plastered pages. In addition, gallery pieces from a small handful of contributors will offer even more inspiration.
