This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. It is both informative about the abilities of bonobo apes and the people in the story are also endearing. It slightly delves into the atrocities to animals that have been committed in the name of medical research. It is reassuring to know that there are many people out there who have made it their jobs to watch out for the creatures who can't speak for themselves. Computer geeks have a part in the story, too. All-in-all, one is left turning pages just to see what will happen next. I highly recommend this book.
