Cade Courtley spent years as a Navy SEAL, using his intensive training to do various important covert activities. Now he's putting his knowledge and experience to work for everyone; his new book literally gives anybody the basics needed to survive any bad situation imaginable. He starts out with tips about becoming mentally and physically fit and then moves on to disaster scenarios. Learn how to respond to animal attacks, a bridge collapsing, a tsunami, or an “active shooter” incident. What do you do when you or someone else is struck by lightning? Gets lost in the mountains? Falls victim to a nuclear attack? Find these answers and more in this clear, concisely-written book. Courtley's anecdotes help add a sense of reality, that this information is there to be used, not just to be read through and never thought of again. Make sure to study the chapters on improvised weapons and basic medical care; these could potentially be lifesaving someday! There's a lot to take in here, but this book is a worthy addition to your bookshelf, or perhaps a great gift for any self-reliant sort of person.
