Much talk in Portland about this important book. Just ordered two and will have to wait "3 to 5 days." Why is it not on the shelf at Powell's Burnside--or any of the any other stores? sigh.

Democrats and progressives have allowed the right-wing to frame our policies by using sweeping (but groundless) generalizations), and clever, but misleading, euphemisms, which we often adopt. Time and again they have beaten us hands-down at the language game. This book rates an essential place in our verbal arsenal. We desperately need to learn how to re-frame our issues and state our case, while remaining clear and truthful.
