Probably my all-time favorite Hellblazer storyline: when he learns he has terminal cancer, John Constantine works an impossible deal with several devils to save his arse. This really showcases the best and worst of John Constantine -- he's a cold bastard who is willing to make deals with demons to survive, but he's also fiercely loyal to his friends and consumed by guilt over his mistakes.
