I've own a previous Haynes automotive repair manual (Taurus 1987and a probe 1989-1992). I'm now planning to buy another automobile (Ford Taurus SE 1999) and I?m going to get its book. I wouldn't go without the Haynes Automotive Repair Manual. It has save me tones of garages fee in the past.
I do recommend anyone I know to get the Haynes Automotive Repair Manual. They are easy to understand and it doesn't take any engineering education to understand them.

I couldn't even find a section on the "serpentine belt" or a picture of the area including the pulleys attached with the serpentine belt. Any belts. I can't believe this book. Then I looked for the clock instructions to replace the battery, itdoen't glow in the dark it needs light. Nothing. The index is way to small and no referencing to other index listings that would save time, nothing. Don't waste your money.
