have been using this book since I bought it from the authors themselves in a library in NJ...before they found a publisher!!! It's awesome...and I use it every year with 8th graders. I read them several stories (always using my BEST voices!!!) and then they find their own words and create their own stories to teach to the rest of the class. It's lots of fun and a great activity. On days when I need a "filler" I can always read to them from the book...and they love it!!!

My reading teacher at Plains Junior School was reading us this book during reading class. We even had to create our own weighty word story from a word we didn't know from a newspaper arcticle. But I really like the stories in this book.I can't wait to read your next story.
