Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

The "disease" of self-deception (acting in ways contrary to what one knows is right) underlies all leadership problems in today's organizations, according to the premise of this work. This straightforward book explains how leaders can discover their own self-deceptions and learn how to escape destructive patterns.

This book is a must-read. I have lost count of the number of copies I have purchased and given away to people in all different walks of life. Because it addresses the person, it applies to everyone. It has the potential to improve the way the reader interacts with others and in doing so, improve his or her own life. Apply its principles and you won't be sorry.

Leadership and Self-Deception is, in itself, a deceptive title for this book and I suspect it may only appeal to people that think they are in 'leadership'.

This is slightly unfortunate, as this is a book for leaders and everyone else.

This book will help you to see the root cause of problems in your business life, personal life and relationships - who we are being, more than what we are doing.

It also offers some ways to change that, which is helpful!

The 'learning' is woven into a story about a guy that joins a company and, in writing it this way, it is easy to relate to.

Read this, then go find their other book, "The Anatomy of Peace".
