All I had to do was glance through this book, and I knew it held the perfect response to my constant whine: "But I can't think of anything to write about. Wahhh." Ms. Reeves provides a topic for every day of the year--including Leap Year. So there's never a dearth of things to write about. And the topics are not "What I did on my summer vacation." Rather they're real memory-joggers. "She was standing in the doorway. . . " Why, that one alone could keep me busy for a week! And there's monthly discussions of all things authorial--just in case one (or more) of your little essays strikes you as needing a wider audience. For anyone who thinks there might be some words inside clamoring to come out, Ms. Reeves is the perfect can-opener.
