About the Author

Grace Bonney is the creator of Design*Sponge, a daily Web site dedicated to home and product design. A native of Virginia Beach, Grace has worked as a contributing editor at publications like House & Garden, Domino, and Craft Magazine. In 2006 Grace founded the Design*Sponge Biz Ladies series, a traveling event designed to connect women running their own design-based businesses with free legal, financial, and marketing advice. She lives in an apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with her husband, Aaron Coles, and their two cats, Turk and Ms. Jackson.

thank you grace bonney & the design sponge team for creating this book. it's such a breath of fresh air to the stale & typical design focus that is so common in the us. it's just my style. this book is so awesome. it has so many pictures, design inspiration ideas, diy tips, flower arrangement how-to's and an even where to shop guide. it's like the big boss just handed you her little black book on what to find & how to do it right in the design world. this book would make a phenomenal gift for yourself or friends. you will not be disappointed!
