About the Author
Edmund R. Burke, Ph.D., is a professor and the director of the Exercise Science Program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. A fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified strength and conditioning specialist, he has worked with the U.S. Cycling Team and two Olympic cycling teams.
