Not only are Roland Smith's myriad of kids books some of my favorites, but this recent title written with his wife Marie is a true gem! It's as approachable to picture books fans as it is to alphabet book seekers and lovers of the Northwest! I can't wait to see the Smiths promote this title, as they're as good with the kids they write for as they are with the books they author.
